SsangYong Tivoli – overview
The SSangYong Tivoli is a subcompact front or all-wheel drive SUV that was unveiled in South Korea in January 2015. It was equipped with 1.6-liter gasoline and diesel engines, paired with 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions from the famous Japanese company Aisin. In addition to the standard version, there was a 235 mm longer version with a larger trunk. After the restyling in 2019, the manufacturer introduced a version with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, which replaced the 1.6-liter unit. The trend for small fuel-efficient engines has continued. Thus, a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder direct injection engine has been installed on European models, paired with a 6-speed manual is transmission and front-wheel drive since 2020.
