Subaru R1 - catalog and technical specifications
The Subaru R1 is a city minicar based on the short Subaru R2. It was produced from 2005 to 2010. Essentially the model was Japanese counterpart of the Smart model. Despite the fact that the car had four seats, the rear seats were not spacious enough. The exterior of the car was inspired by the flagship Tribeca. The model was equipped with large 15-inch wheels. The car featured a small 660 cc 4-cylinder engine.
