Suzuki Alto – overview
The Suzuki Alto is the oldest model of the manufacturer that has been produced since 1979. This 3- or 5-door kei hatchback is sold in many countries around the world. In Japan, it is equipped with a tiny motor with a maximum volume of 660 cc, whereas export cars that are not limited by standards, feature 1.0-liter units. Like any self-respecting Japanese kei car, it is offered in all-wheel drive versions. The current ninth generation will debut in 2021. The new Alto is equipped with a hybrid system and a CVT, the average fuel consumption of which ranges from 3.4 to 4.2 liters per 100 km.
