Suzuki Kei – overview
The Suzuki Kei is a traditional Japanese kei car with a 660 cc engine produced from 1998 to 2009. The model range comprised 3-door hatchbacks and very popular 5-door versions. Currently, such cars are often called SUVs. The little Kei could also be called an SUV due to the presence of full-fledged all-wheel drive versions, improved driving performance on poor roads and independent front suspension. The Kei Sport, Kei Sport R and advanced Kei Works sporty versions featured a special design, a turbocharged engine with 64 hp, a specially tuned suspension and Recaro sports seats.
