Suzuki Wagon R+ – overview
Suzuki Wagon R+ is a small 5-door, 5-seater minivan, created on the basis of the second generation of the Wagon R model. Released in 1997, the microvan, despite the “plus” prefix, turned out to be even smaller than its original: only 3410 mm in length. Some versions had a folding roof. The Japanese kei car looked tiny from the outside, but inside it offered a spacious interior. Suzuki Wagon R+ was valued for its increased capacity, ease of maintenance, reliability, handling and maneuverability. A small but very nimble car, it was distinguished by maneuverability and was very convenient for the city. The car was equipped with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, manual or automatic transmissions, and a wide range of small-capacity gasoline and diesel engines with power from 53 to 101 hp. The second generation has grown slightly in length (up to 3510 mm). Compact dimensions continue to be combined with a spacious interior. Inside it can comfortably accommodate 5 people. The standard trunk volume is 250 liters, but with the rear row of seats folded down it can already accommodate up to 595 liters.
