Toyota Avanza generations

The Toyota Avanza is a compact 5-door minivan, a twin of Daihatsu Zenia. Designed as an affordable and working car for developing countries, the vehicle was produced in Indonesia by Astra Daihatsu Motor and sold in various parts of Asia, Mexico, the Middle East and parts of Africa. The minivan was equipped with 1.3 and 1.5-liter engines, manual or automatic gearboxes and front-wheel drive. In Indonesia, the Avanza became the best-selling passenger car from 2006 to 2019, with total sales of over million units. In 2021, it was replaced by a more luxurious Toyota Velos.
