Toyota Classic - catalog and technical specifications
The Toyota Classic is a limited-production model (only 100 units) produced in 1996. The rear-wheel drive sedan resembled the Toyota AA model, a car of the 1930s and 1940s. But it was based on the frame of the fifth-generation Hilux pickup. The models also shared a 2-liter 3Y-E engine with a capacity of 96 hp. The interior is inspired by the current Toyota models, but has some "retro" elements. The price of each unit was approximately 75,000 US dollars, and all the Classic series cars were sold out.
