Toyota Fortuner - catalog and technical specifications
The Toyota Fortuner is a 7-seater body-on-frame SUV produced since 2004. The model was based on the Toyota Hilux pickup and was especially popular in countries with low road surface quality. The vehicle was developed mainly by Thai specialists from Toyota, which directly affected its Asian style. The first generation came with 2.7 and 4-liter gasoline engines or 2.5 and 3-liter diesel engines. The new 2015 Fortuner received a classic plug-in drive with a low range (the first generation vehicle had permanent all-wheel drive). The range of engines has kept a modernized 2.7-liter gasoline unit and has been complemented by diesel engines with a volume of 2.4 and 2.8 liters. There are new 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
