Toyota Mega Cruiser in Israel

The Toyota Mega Cruiser is a full-size SUV developed on the basis of a military vehicle for the Japan Self-Defense Forces. It was produced from 1996 to 2001. The vehicle looked almost like an American Hummer. The SUV turned out to be very large: more than 5 meters long and 2.2 meters wide. It was equipped with a 4.1-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine and automatic transmission, equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system with a central differential. Thanks to the fully controlled chassis, the huge Mega Cruiser boasted a turning radius of only 5.6m. In addition to the system for changing the pressure in the rear tires, the vehicle received a radio, air conditioning and some other elements of comfortable driving.
