Toyota Soarer - catalog and technical specifications
The Toyota Soarer is a large and luxurious rear-wheel drive coupe that has been produced since 1981. In 1991, this beautiful Japanese car received an analogue, Lexus SC 300/400, which debuted in the US market. Despite the fact that both models looked identical, the Soarer model range was much wider and included different engines. Firstly, there was a 1GZ 2.5-liter twin turbine engine with 280 hp. It was combined with both manual and automatic transmissions. The second option is a 4-liter engine with 260 hp with an automatic transmission. The fourth generation received a 4.3-liter engine that developed 280 hp. The car was produced until 2005. Next, the manufacturer introduced the new luxury brand Lexus in Japan and offered the updated Lexus SC 430 instead of the Soarer.
