Toyota Tercel – overview
The Toyota Tercel is a subcompact model, produced from 1978 to 2000. It was offered as a sedan or a 3 and 5-door hatchback (at the beginning of life). The car featured a new E-series engine developed specifically for it, which provided good performance, fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness. The volume of engines was 1.3 or 1.5 liters. At home, the car was offered in a huge number of trim levels with front or all-wheel drive, automatic or manual transmissions. The Tercel was sold under other names in the USA and some other countries.
