The Toyota WiLL VS is a compact car for the Japanese market, part of a multi-industry project to create a brand for the new century. Therefore, the model has an avant-garde look, and its body is a cross between a 5-door hatchback and a sports estate. The car was equipped with engines with a volume of 1.5 and 1.8 liters (the top engine produced 190 hp), an automatic transmission with manual mode or a 6-speed manual transmission. The avant-garde model was based on the good old Corolla, hence a simple suspension: MacPherson strut and torsion beam suspensions. At the same time, the car had a sportier character. The rear multi-link suspension received all-wheel drive modifications. The Toyota WiLL VS was produced from 2001 to 2004.
