The Vauxhall Cavalier is a large family car that was sold from 1975 to 1995. Throughout the entire production period, it was based on Opel’s developments. The first generation was based on the Ascon and Manta models with slight visual differences. The second generation was sold simultaneously with the identical Opel Ascona. The third and last generation was a copy of the Opel Vectra. The car was available in sedan, coupe or hatchback bodies, had front-wheel drive and a wide range of gasoline engines.
