Volkswagen Caddy – overview
The Volkswagen Caddy is a light commercial vehicle first introduced by Volkswagen in 1980. It is sold in Europe and worldwide. It has several body styles: compact van and pickup. The very first Caddy was based on the A1 platform, which was also used by the first generation Golf. It was offered as a pickup and a van and was called the Rabbit in the USA. The modern version has become more spacious and more convenient for transporting goods, has acquired a digital panel and received more electronic elements. In addition to the standard version, there is also a longer version with a Maxi prefix.
