The Volkswagen Pointer is a small family car produced by Volkswagen Group AutoLatina and sold in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay from 1994 to 1996. The car was a European version of the Ford Escort and developed jointly by Volkswagen Group AutoLatina and Ford Motor Company. The compact model was offered in sedan, 3- and 5-door hatchback, estate, convertible and even van body styles. This is a simple, unpretentious, reliable, and very popular car.
