Volvo S60 Cross Country - catalog and technical specifications
The Volvo S60 Cross Country is a modification of the S60 business class sedan, first introduced in Detroit in 2015. It differed from the standard S60 in its 65 mm higher ground clearance (only 211 mm), plastic linings on bumpers, sills and wheel arches, as well as the suspension borrowed from the XC70 estate and electronic assistants for off-road driving. The car with off-road ambitions has acquired a brutal appearance. The cross-country ability provided not only high ground clearance, but also permanent all-wheel drive. The third generation of the Haldex interaxle friction multi-plate clutch was responsible for the distribution of torque. Such an unusual sedan was created for those who needed a car with a good ground clearance, but for some reason did not want to buy an SUV. In 2018, the S60 Cross Country was discontinued due to low sales.
