WEY is one of the most popular Chinese car brands, created in 2016 by the large Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors to produce premium crossovers and SUVs powered by new energy sources. It received its name in honor of the ancient Chinese kingdom of Wei, which existed from 445 to 225 BC. One of the latest innovations is the so-called “coffee” family of compact crossovers, named after the types of coffee. The “digital platform” Coffee Intelligence has been specially developed for them: it includes a third-level autopilot, 5G networks and a V2X system that allows you to exchange data with road infrastructure and other cars. In Israel, Wei offers a premium luxury crossover with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which in terms of equipment can compete with recognized European giants, but has a much more attractive price.
