Wiesmann car models in Israel

Sports cars with unusual retro designs and original headlights were produced under the German brand Wiesmann from 1985 onward. The Wiesmann logo depicted a gecko because their cars “stuck to the road like geckos to walls.” The company manufactured two series of roadsters: GT which was an old series with a number of modifications and MF which was a new series of sports cars. Wiesmann manufactured small batches of cars not exceeding 50 units per year and an order had to be placed at least six months in advance. Due to financial challenges Wiesmann sports cars were discontinued in 2013. Read the article
