Bumper replacement
The bumper is an element that is often susceptible to serious damage, in which case the bumper is replaced. To replace the front bumper, the upper mounts under the hood are removed. To replace the rear bumper, the plastic trim and facing are removed, the trunk of the car is opened and all fasteners are removed. The new bumper is installed in the reverse order, with the bolts only tightened when everything is in place.
