Apal GT Horizon – overview
The Apal GT Horizon was produced in a limited series from 1968 to 1969. The car featured a unique design with compound front lights, giving it a rather amusing appearance. The fiberglass body was mounted on a steel frame, with a mid-engine layout. The 1565 cc engine had 4 cylinders, generating a mere 94 horsepower. Despite this, the lightweight coupe could reach a top speed of 199 km/h (123 mph) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 9.6 seconds.
