Audi SQ6 Sportback e-tron – overview

The Audi SQ6 Sportback e-tron is a powerful version of the coupe-like electric crossover Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron, presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 2024. In essence, it is an environmentally friendly alternative to the fuel crossover coupe Audi SQ5 Sportback. The SQ6 Sportback e-tron is based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform of the Volkswagen Group with an 800-volt electrical system. Compared to the base Q6 e-tron, the Sportback model has a sloping roof and a more streamlined profile. The height has decreased by 37 mm to 1665 mm. The Cx coefficient has been reduced to 0.26 (versus 0.28), but otherwise the coupe-like version is identical to the regular Q6 e-tron. Other dimensions have not changed: the length is 4771 mm, the wheelbase is 2899 mm. The interior has completely changed from the base crossover. The curved front panel houses two standard screens: an 11.9-inch one for instruments and a 14.5-inch one for the media system. A third 10.9-inch display for the front passenger is available as an option. Recycled materials are used in the interior trim: Elastic Melange on the doors and dashboard, Draft fabric on the roof pillars and ceiling. Particular attention has been paid to maintaining the practicality of the coupe-like electric crossover: there are plenty of storage spaces, the main trunk holds 511 liters, with the rear row folded - 1373 liters. There is an additional front compartment of 64 liters. The "charged" top version of the Audi SQ6 Sportback e-tron received a dual-motor all-wheel drive with a total output of 517 hp. Acceleration to the first "hundred" takes 4.3 seconds, the cruising range is 607 km. The maximum speed has been increased to 230 km/h against 210 km/h for other versions. Peak charging power is 270 kW, which allows the range to be replenished from 10 to 80% in 22 minutes.
