BMW i7 – overview
The BMW i7 is a fully electric version of the BMW 7 Series sedan, released in 2022 as part of the new, seventh-generation base model. Despite having different types of engines, the 7 Series and i7 share a common platform and have a unified body. For now, the electric sedan is available in a single version with two electric motors, one per axle. The drive is a permanent all-wheel drive. The total output of the powertrain is 544 hp. The motors are powered by a traction battery with a capacity of 101.7 kWh, providing a range of 483-590 km (according to the WLTP cycle).
