EB 112

Bugatti EB 112 generations

The Bugatti EB 112 is a fatal model for Bugatti. In difficult times for the company, its owner Romano Artioli decided to add the luxurious EB 112 sedan to the model range. Its development and the simultaneous purchase of Lotus Cars plunged Bugatti into debt, and the company went bankrupt. All rights to production, technical documentation, as well as unfinished cars were bought by Dauer Racing GmbH from Nuremberg. In the 2000s, the further development of Bugatti models was continued by the new owner of the brand, Volkswagen Group. As for the EB 112 itself, it was based on the EB 110 and was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro from the Italian studio Italdesign. The result is a large 4-door fastback in retro style, reminiscent of the classic models of the brand. It was equipped with a 6-liter gasoline V12 engine with 456 hp. It was paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car featured a permanent all-wheel drive system.
