BYD Han L - catalog and technical specifications
BYD Han L is a full-size 4-door 5-seat sedan with hybrid and electric powertrains, introduced in January 2025. The L version does not replace, but complements the current flagship Han, which will remain on the production line. Built on the new Super E platform, Han L was larger, more powerful and faster than its predecessor. The spring-suspension chassis features double wishbones at the front and a multi-link design at the rear. On the outside, the Han L, although reminiscent of the previous Han, has its own differences: black stripes on the front doors connecting the trim on the fenders with the door handles, smoother sidewalls, active air intake flaps in the front bumper, rear mono light with an LED “phoenix plume” pattern. The wheels are set to 19 inches. The length of the Han L has increased by 55 mm - to 5050 mm, the wheelbase has been stretched by 50 mm - to 2970 mm. Genuine leather was used to decorate the interior, bamboo veneer decor was added, and double-layer glass was installed. There are two screens on the front panel, a double platform for wireless charging and a row of physical buttons on the two-level central tunnel. Plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions are offered. Plug-in hybrids are based on a gasoline 1.5-liter turbo engine (156 hp), which can operate in generator mode and be connected to the front wheels through a single-stage gearbox. The DM-i version received one electric motor on the front axle (272 hp), the DM-p is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive (544 hp) and accelerates to the first hundred in 3.9 seconds. Electric cars are also offered in two versions: a basic one with one electric motor on the rear axle with a capacity of 680 hp. s., top-end all-wheel drive with two electric motors producing a total of 1102 hp. This “hypercar” needs only 2.7 seconds to accelerate to “hundreds”, and the maximum speed is 270 km/h.
