Dodge Neon – overview
The Dodge Neon is a compact car produced by Dodge for the USA and for export from 1994 to 2005. It was sold under the Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth brands. Dodge offered not only a 4-door sedan with a 150 hp engine, but also a 2-door coupe with a more powerful 4-cylinder engine producing 155 hp. The Neon was positioned as a C-segment model, although it could even compete with the D-segment models in terms of dimensions. The design of the car received mixed reviews. Some people liked the unusual round headlights, while others thought the car was too “cute”. But in general, the model appeared at the right time in the right place and was very popular.
