Ferrari Dino 208/308 GT4 - catalog and technical specifications

The Ferrari Dino 308/208 GT4 was introduced in 1973. The 308 GT4 model received a three-liter engine, whereas the 208 model featured a two-liter one. The body was designed by Bertone. Surprisingly, it was possible to fit four seats into a car with a wheelbase only 21 cm longer than a two-seater Dino 246! It was the company's first four-seater model with a rear-engine engine and the first production Ferrari car with an eight-cylinder engine. It was also the only Ferrari to be certified and sold in the United States. The production of the model went on for seven years until the end of 1980, when it was replaced by the Mondial 8 car. A total of 2,826 cars were made.
