Ford Capri - catalog and technical specifications
The Ford Capri is a fastback that looked like a coupe. It was produced from 1969 to 1987. Built by Ford of Europe as per the design of Philip T. Clark (who helped develop the Mustang), the car had much in common with the Cortina and was conceived as the European equivalent of the Mustang. The car was equipped with a wide range of engines, the volumes of which ranged from 1.3 to 5 liters. As a result, the model turned out to be very successful: almost 1.9 million units were sold under the “The Car You Always Promised Yourself” slogan.
