Ford Escape generations
The Ford Escape is a compact SUV produced by Ford since 2000. There are four generations of this vehicle. The first generation was developed jointly with Mazda, which had its "twin" Tribute. Designed for Europe, the latest generation Escape is called Kuga. It has hybrid and plug-in hybrid options. The American Escape has received a top-end modification with a 2-liter turbocharged engine with 253 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
