Honda S2000 - catalog and technical specifications
The Honda S2000 is a sports roadster produced by Honda from 1999 to 2009 in two generations. The production car was launched in honor of the 50th anniversary of the company. The S2000 became a continuation of the series of S500, S600 and S800 roadsters. The numbers 2000 in the name meant an engine capacity of two liters. The car had compact dimensions, rear-wheel drive and only a 6-speed gearbox. In 2000, the roadster received a variable gear ratio steering (VGS) system that varied with vehicle speed and steering angle to provide better handling. This is the first Honda with VGS.
