Isuzu Rodeo – overview

Interestingly, the Isuzu Rodeo was sold as a compact pickup in Japan and a mid-sized SUV in North America. The model was produced from 1988 to 2004. Japanese pickups produced before 1994 were equipped with a 2.8-liter diesel engine and a 4WD four-wheel drive system, which was paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. There was also a reduction gear. The American Rodeo lived for two generations as a 3-door and 5-door SUV. The first generation still looked like a Japanese counterpart, and the second generation was a copy of the Isuzu Wizard.
