JAC 40 - catalog and technical specifications
The JAC 40 is a compact electric crossover, the de facto successor to the JAC e-JS4. Debuted in December 2024. Its compact dimensions (length 4410 mm) make it feel great in heavy city traffic, and the decent wheelbase (2620 mm) promises decent interior space. The crossover was given a stylish appearance with fashionable stripes connecting the headlights and taillights. All versions are equipped with roof rails, automatic DRLs, tinted rear windows and 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior is designed in a modern style: in front of the driver there is a trimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument screen and a multimedia touchscreen of the same size with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Advanced climate control is controlled using a touch panel. The cabin is designed for five passengers, there is a comfortable sofa for three in the back, there are ventilation deflectors, USB connectors and a folding armrest with cup holders. The standard equipment includes many active safety systems and electronic driver assistants. There is only one version of the JAC 40 offered in Israel: a single electric motor on the rear axle with a power of 190 hp. and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 65.7 kWh. The crossover accelerates to the first hundred in 8.0 seconds, the maximum speed is limited to 140 km/h. The range on one charge is 410 km.
