JAC e-S2 – overview
The JAC e-S2 is an electric version of the JAC Refine S2 compact crossover SUV, released in 2015. The electric vehicle was released in 2017. The compact model is 4.1 m long and offers a ground clearance of only 130 mm. The electric motor mounted on the front axle produces 115 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 12 seconds and developing the maximum speed of 130 km/h. A 39 kWh battery allows the SUV to travel 280 km on a single charge in the city, and when driving at a constant speed of 60 km/h the driving range can reach 360 km. It takes only an hour to charge the vehicle from a fast charging station or about 12 hours from a household outlet.
