KGM Torres in Israel

KG Mobility Torres is a mid-size 5-seater crossover from the KG Mobility brand (formerly SsangYong), released in June 2022. In March 2023, it had an electric version of EVX. The KGM Torres looks like a real brutal all-terrain vehicle: rectangular shape, radiator grille with six vertical slits (like Jeep models), muscularly convex hood and wings. The headlights received LED “arrows” for running lights. At the rear of the trunk door there is a lockable storage compartment. Standard wheels are 18 inches, top versions have 20 inches. The ground clearance of 195 mm hints at increased cross-country ability. The spacious interior seats five. There are 3 displays in front: a 12.5-inch digital display for instruments, a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and below it another 8-inch screen for controlling climate control, heating and ventilation of the front seats. The four-spoke steering wheel with a cut-off lower part is equipped with many buttons. There is a wireless charging pad and several USB ports. The trunk holds 599 liters, with the rear row folded down - 1662 liters. Towing capacity is from 500 to 1500 kg. The KG Mobility Torres is offered with a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine producing 163 hp. paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission manufactured by Aisin. There is a version with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, connected via a clutch on the rear axle. The crossover accelerates to the first hundred in 10.8 seconds, with a top speed of 190 km/h.
