Gemera

Koenigsegg Gemera generations

The Koenigsegg Gemera is the brand's first 4-seater car, an extreme sports hypercar that weighs just 1850 kg, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 400 km/h. It can run on ethanol, methanol and any biofuel derived from renewable feedstocks, gasoline and an E85 blend. The hypercar received a hybrid system based on a 2-liter three-cylinder TFG engine with two turbochargers. The 3-cylinder engine is capable of producing 608 hp, and together with three electric motors, the output reaches 1,723 hp and 3,500 Nm. The car has a proprietary transmission KDD (Koenigsegg Direct Drive) without a gearbox, all-wheel drive and a fully controlled chassis. The monocoque is made of carbon fiber, as are the exterior body panels. The Gemera is a road car, although it can also drive on the track, so it is equipped with adaptive cruise control and a lane keeping assist system. The front trunk can hold a small suitcase. Three more suitcases will fit into the rear cargo area.
