Countach

Lamborghini Countach - catalog and technical specifications

The Lamborghini Countach is the name under which two cars are sold. The first is the legendary sports car produced by Marcello Gandini from 1974 to 1991. It was almost the only company car that was not named after a fighting bull: the word "Countach" is derived from a dialect of the Italian language and means a high level of admiration. The car was equipped with V12 engines with a volume of 3.9, 4.8 or 5.2 liters. The torque was transmitted to the rear axle through a 5-speed manual transmission. The second model is a revival of the first model, dated 2021. The modern supercar is equipped with a hybrid system and uses the chassis and components of the Sian FKP 37: a 6.5-liter V12 engine (780 hp) plus a small electric motor built into a 7-speed robotic gearbox (34 hp). The dynamics of the new Countach is excellent: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, while the maximum speed is 355 km/h.
