Lordstown Endurance – overview
The Lordstown Endurance is a fully electric pickup truck with a ladder frame, in production since late 2022. The truck is built on a straightforward chassis featuring double-wishbone suspension in the front and leaf spring suspension in the rear. The creators equipped it with a unique technical solution – in-wheel motors: each wheel houses an electric motor, collectively generating around 600 horsepower, with a torque output reaching 6000 Nm. The 70 kWh traction battery pack allows for a "more than 400 km" range on a single charge. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes around 5.5 seconds, with a top speed limited to 128 km/h due to the vehicle's design and intended purpose.
