Lotus Esprit – overview
The Lotus Esprit is a sports car produced as a two-door coupe from 1976 to 2004. It is considered one of the first examples of the design concept of the great Giorgetto Giugiaro in the style of "fold paper". The car became popular after it appeared in the James Bond movie Spy Who Loved Me 1977. The Esprit, although not particularly powerful, had excellent handling. At the same time, it could easily accelerate to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, and its maximum speed reached 222 km/h.
