Mazda CX-90 – overview

The Mazda CX-90 is a large 3-row crossover from the Japanese brand, set to become the new flagship model, replacing the CX-9. The crossover is based on a rear-wheel-drive platform with a longitudinally mounted engine, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain is expected among its offerings. Mazda is primarily preparing the CX-90 for the North American market, where the new crossover will debut in January 2023, becoming Mazda's first plug-in hybrid model in the United States. It is anticipated that it will be the most expensive vehicle in the brand's lineup.
