Toyota Land Cruiser generations

The Toyota Land Cruiser is a 3- or 5-door mid-size body-on-frame SUV that has been produced since 1987. It has four generations. The global model is sold worldwide. It comes with gasoline or diesel engines, manual or automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive only. The latest generation has been produced since 2009 and was restyled in 2013, 2017 and 2020. The modern Land Cruiser has received a modified 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine with an output of up to 200 hp, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle has become more dynamic: it now takes 9.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The maximum speed is 175 km/h. Starting from the Elegance version, vehicles have black mirror housings and a radiator grille, as well as dark body decor. The most expensive Luxe Safety version is now called Black Onyx and is equipped with a rear air suspension, sunroof, JBL sound system and Toyota Safety Sense package, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic braking and lane keeping systems.
