Mercedes A-Class – overview
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a series of compact passenger cars produced since 1997. It is produced in 3 or 5-door hatchback and sedan bodies. It is positioned as the starting model in the German brand’s model range. It is the first series of the company's cars in its segment to feature the front-wheel drive system. The 2018 European New Car Evaluation Program Committee awarded the Mercedes-Benz A-Class the Best Safety Performance Award in the Small Family Car class.
