Mercedes A-Class AMG - catalog and technical specifications
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class AMG is a luxury sports version of the compact A-Class passenger car. It was introduced in 1998, when the Mercedes-AMG tuning studio installed two 1.9-liter gasoline engines with a total capacity of 250 hp on an A-Class car. The first powertrain was located under the hood and set the front wheels in motion, whereas the second was installed in the rear and powered the rear wheels. The first A-Class AMG accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The maximum speed was 230 km/h. The modern Mercedes-Benz A-Class AMG has one powerful engine.
