The Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is an all-wheel drive version with a coupe-like silhouette of the mid-size luxury E-segment SUV, produced since 2014. In 2015, the predecessors of the GLE, the popular ML-series SUVs, received the prefix GL and a letter denoting the vehicle class. Thus, the third generation ML restyled in 2015 became the first GLE. And its modification C292 with a coupe-like silhouette became the first Mercedes GLE Coupe.
