Mercedes R-Class – overview
Produced from 2005 to 2013, the Mercedes-Benz R-Class is essentially the first full-size Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Based on the Vision GST (Grand Sports Tourer) concept, the new Mercedes-Benz R-Class has received an unusual body shape. It was a synthesis of a minivan, estate and SUV, but the German concern itself claimed that it was a sports van. The stylish and technologically sophisticated vehicle was suitable for any life situations: family trips, sports trips or work assignments. The model had classic and longer wheelbase versions. The minivan came standard with six seats (4+2). Next, the manufacturer began to produce the 5+2 seat version.
