Mercedes T1 / TN - catalog and technical specifications

Mercedes TN/T1 is a family of light commercial vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, produced from 1977 to 1995. The T1, also known as the TN or simply the "duck", is one of the world's most distinguished vans and has served as a benchmark for many European automakers over the years. The history of the TN (Transporter Neu) line began in 1977, when the first “Mercedes of vans” was introduced. For its time, the car looked very elegant and modern. The Germans managed to combine a spacious interior and decent cargo compartment capacity with excellent maneuverability. The rear doors opened 270 degrees, there were two sliding doors on the sides, the interior was well thought out, and the front passenger seat was height adjustable. In addition, the Mercedes TN/T1 was offered in various bodies: a regular and extended van, a minibus and a chassis-cab version. Nominal gross weight - from 2.55 to 4.6 tons. The engines were installed gasoline or diesel. Drive - rear or all-wheel drive. In 1995, the TN/T1 family was replaced by the new Mercedes Sprinter.
