Mercury Marquis – overview
The Mercury Marquis is the flagship model of the Mercury model range produced in four generations from 1967 to 1986. The first three generations were represented by full-size coupes and sedans, and the fourth turned into a mid-size sedan. The car was equipped with large engines. When Ford switched the entire model range to front-wheel drive, the Marquis was replaced by the Mercury Sable.
