MG 4 – overview
The MG 4 Electric is a compact, rear-wheel drive, fully electric 5-door hatchback from the British brand MG, owned by the Chinese automaker SAIC. In China, it has been given the name Mulan in honor of the famous heroine of Chinese epic, and there it boasts enhanced performance features, classifying it as a "hot-hatch". In Europe, the hatchback is called the MG 4 and its specifications are much more modest, although it promises finely-tuned handling in the best European traditions. The car was unveiled in June 2022 and will hit the market in 2023. The single electric motor is located on the rear axle: with a 51 kWh battery, it delivers 168 hp, and with a 64 kWh battery, it produces 204 hp. The hatchback accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds, with a top speed limited to 160 km/h. The driving range is 350 and 450 km, respectively.
