MG EHS – overview
The MG HS is a 5-seater SUV produced by the British brand MG, which has been owned by the Chinese concern SAIC since 2007 (as of 2021). It has been produced since 2019 in both gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions. The first MG HS is a production version of the X Motion concept vehicle, which debuted at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show. The vehicle can be equipped with 1.5-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder gasoline engines with 169 hp (a total of 171 hp or 126 kW) or 2-liter turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder gasoline engines with 231 hp. The SUV comes with a front-wheel drive system and 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The electric version of the MG ЕHS PHEV SUV is a plug-in hybrid vehicle, produced since October 2020.
