MG S5 in Israel

The MG S5 is a mid-size 5-seat electric crossover, introduced in October 2024. The electric car, built on the same platform as the MG 4 electric hatchback, actually replaced the MG ZS EV crossover, but was larger in size than both: length The ES5 measures 4,476 mm with axle distance of 2,610 mm. And the exterior is designed more modernly: double-decker optics at the front and combined lights at the rear, a panoramic roof and 18-inch wheels. The creators promise a considerable amount of interior space and a decent list of equipment. The Nebula platform from SAIC includes a McPherson front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. There is only one version of the MG S5 announced so far - with rear-wheel drive and a single electric motor producing 170 hp and 250 Nm. The crossover accelerates to the first hundred in 8.0 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 170 km/h. But you can choose a battery of 49.1 or 62.2 kW/h. There will be several variants with different ranges: 425 km, 515 km and 525 km on the CLTC cycle. The new MG S5 will enter the Chinese market in November 2024 and will then be exported.
