Rover 45 – overview
The Rover 45 is a compact car that debuted in 1999. The model was actually a modernized Rover 400. The redesigned sedans and 5-door hatchbacks received improved equipment and a retuned suspension. The high-performance version of the model was sold under the name MG ZS. The engine range comprised the same gasoline engines with a volume of 1.4, 1.6 or 1.8 liters, as well as a 2-liter turbocharged diesel engine. Plus, there was a version with a 2-liter V6 gasoline engine producing 149 hp, and the 1.8-liter engine was paired with a ZF CVT.
