The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is an SUV that occupies an intermediate position between the Mitsubishi Outlander and Mitsubishi ASX, sharing the same platform with them. The Eclipse Cross was named after the legendary 1989 sports coupe. The vehicle features an eye-catching, sharp and memorable design. The model’s exterior was designed by Tsunehiro Kunimoto, who also designed the Nissan Juke. The vehicle was initially equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 150 hp and was offered with front-wheel drive, a manual transmission or a CVT, or with all-wheel drive and a CVT. Next, the vehicle received a 2-liter engine with a CVT and front-wheel drive. In 2020, the SUV was restyled, acquiring an updated design and new options.
